Mobility

Mobility

We’ll first assess your family member for safety with all levels of mobility, then develop an individualized plan. We often help clients with standby assistance (whether they’re walking independently or using a walker) or hands-on assistance with or without a device.

Rest assured your loved one will receive the help they need with transfers from bed to wheelchair or wheelchair to car, using proper body mechanics and a gait belt as required.

Our caregivers can also operate transfer lift devices if your family member wants to sit up in a wheelchair or recliner chair. They will also perform range of motion exercises with your loved one as required.

We are extremely pleased with our new caregiver. My father seems to be very compatible with her; he is already following her directions. That's a major accomplishment for the first night.

I can’t thank you enough for all you have done for my parents. Your caregivers have taken to them as though they are family, and I feel so at ease knowing your agency is there 24/7 for them. My mother often says “We are truly blessed to have found such wonderful people.”

My dad called today and sounded fantastic. He said he was out walking with his caregiver. I can’t tell you how happy it made me. As you know since mom passed he hasn't left the house and was so depressed. His caregivers are amazing. He is eating healthy, taking his medication, exercising, and the house is clean. Most of all he seems so much happier. It seemed like his life was never going to get back on track...but thanks to all of you he is back!

How does one say Thank You, when “Thank You” is so inadequate for the loving, and constant care you gave to my Mother. She, as you know, had been traumatized by the ordeal of falling from her wheelchair.

It meant so much to have your there to garden and walk with my mother. Your girls were there to read to her, keep her company, and most of all to continue to love her. I wish I had the words to express what you have meant to us.
